HMS Revenge is band from Rochelle Park, NJ that plays original songs. They are releasing their 2nd 5 song EP called Voyage this weekend. The band calls their music alternative but I’m not quite sure you can easily put a label on it. HMS Revenge’s songs sound like what I wish more indie songs would sound like. They are songs with passion and just the right dose of power chords thrown in. Rick Warren has such a unique and powerful voice that it truly is another compelling instrument in this band. I am blown away by this band and I am sure it is only a matter of time that they become huge. I will definitely be picking up their new EP.
